Slotting tool 4mm or 10mm

 With these stainless steel slitting tools you can punch slits with precise dimensions into your leather.
This is particularly useful if you are unsure about cutting short lines with a craft knife and want to make sure that you do not cut beyond the desired distance. Slotting tools are often used to make slots for attaching various clasps. They are also suitable for punching out accurate rectangles from a piece of leather.

To make the slots, use a rubber mallet and an old cutting mat or a soft plastic board as a base.

Note: Light rust spots may appear on this tool (especially the 4mm slotting tool) due to the steel used and the way it is manufactured. To avoid rust spots on your slotting tool, protect it from moisture. Existing rust spots can be removed with a little vinegar and salt or a sanding sponge.
