Dimensions: 25 cm wide, 21 cm high, 7 cm deep. Inside pocket: 20 cm wide. A 0.5l bottle, a large wallet and a few small items (glasses, make-up, cell phone) fit into the saddle bag - your ideal companion for on the go.
Exchange flap
The flap of this bag is attached to the back of the bag with five binding screws and can be swapped out as you wish. So you can customize the bag even more and match it to your looks. Alternatively, you can sew the flap permanently to the bag.
Carrying options

You can optionally apply various personalizations to the Saddle Bag. Choose between embossing, the trapunto technique or use pocket patches and rivets to customize your bag.
embossing
The embossing is applied to the leather during production. Letters are clamped into our machine, heated and pressed onto the leather with or without foil. The letters/shapes are approximately 8mm high.
You can choose:
- Color of the embossing: Foil in silver, light gold or blind embossing without foil
- Position on the bag: bag body, inside pocket, statement strap
- Text or motif (e.g. made by me lettering, our logo or an individual monogram)
trapunto technique
Here, forms made of bonded leather are glued between the leather and the lining and shaped against a firm base with an edge former. The result is a raised 3D effect that is more striking than the embossing due to the letter height of 6 cm.
The technique is implemented by yourself (video tutorial available) and is best implemented with our smooth leather or another thinner leather.

Das ist meine erste Ledertasche und mein allererstes Nähprojekt überhaupt. Am Anfang habe ich mich mit dem festen Caviar-Leder etwas schwer getan, es wurde jedoch schnell besser und es macht inzwischen soviel Spass, dass ich mir direkt wieder eine Tasche (Bucket) bestellt habe. Die Anleitungen und Videos sind wirklich super und auch für totale Anfänger wie mich gut verständlich. Es ist einfach ein tolles Gefühl, so eine hochwertige Ledertasche in den Händen zu haben und sagen zu können, die habe ich selbst gemacht.

Vor noch gar nicht langer Zeit bin ich auf Insta auf bagandpieces gestoßen. Was soll ich sagen, ich bin infiziert mit den wunderschönen und hochwertigen Ledertaschen. Ich hatte null Erfahrung mit nähen oder dem Lederhandwerk. Dank der tollen und genauen Anleitung ist mir diese tolle Tasche gelungen. Meine 12 jährige Tochter gab ich damit auch gleich angesteckt ☺️ich bin sehr happy mit meiner neuen Tasche und wurde auch schon mehrfach darauf angesprochen, ☺️
Die Saddlebag aus Velours war wirklich einfach zu machen, auch wenn man sehr akkurat mit der Kantenfarbe arbeiten muss. Die Größe ist perfekt für alles Wichtige.

Das ist meine erste Saddle Bag, aus dem richtig schönen Matte Grain Leder. Ich kann einfach nicht ohne Trapunto's, diese Art der individualisierung finde ich mega 😍 das Video auf Youtube bezgl. Druckknöpfe war auch sehr hilfreich. Die Verarbeitung war wirklich easy und absolut Anfängertauglich.
Als absolute Anfängerin habe ich mich an eine Modern Saddle Bag gewagt – und nach ca. 4 Wochen halte ich tatsächlich meine selbstgemachte Tasche in den Händen 👜 Die Anleitung von Bags and Pieces war super verständlich und die Materialien hochwertig. Es war meine erste Saddle, aber nicht meine erste Bags and Pieces Tasche. Ich habe ein eigenes Futter gewählt, die Nähte nach außen genäht und die Innentasche weggelassen. Es lässt sich einfach nähen und ist super für Anfänger geeignet. Es wird wohl meine Alltagstasche werden und mich oft begleiten.

Die Saddle war meine erste Tasche und sie war dafür das ich noch nie mit Leder gearbeitet habe sehr gut zu nähen.
Das ist jetzt meine dritte Tasche von Bags & Pieces und ich bin wieder total begeistert. Dieses Mal habe ich die Saddle aus schwarzem Veloursleder gemacht und sie mit einer Tauschklappe aus dem wunderschönen Sternchenleder aus einem Story Sale kombiniert. Die Klappe aus schwarzem Velours ist mit Strassnieten verziert und auch so toll.....ich weiß garnicht welche Klappe ich lieber mag. 🥰 Die Verarbeitung der Saddle ist wirklich toll und gut umsetzbar. Das Veloursleder fühlt sich super an und ließ sich trotz der dunklen Farbe toll verarbeiten. Ich liebe das Ergebnis und trage sie in jeder kombi total gerne. Definitiv nicht die letzte Tasche aber im Moment meine liebste.
Nicht meine erste Saddle, deshalb für mich eher einfach, aber auch für Anfänger durch die gute Anleitung gut machbar. Sehr unanfälliges Leder.
Für Einsteiger super zu machen ! Ist meine Zweite Saddle und finde neben dem Shopper und der timless das sie am einfachsten und schnellsten geht ! Man kann es an einem Tag machen !
Meine 2. Saddle Bag ist fertig...juhuuu! Man beachte: den Schwierigkeitsgrad habe ich von "Kleine Challenges" auf "Gut machbar" runtergesetzt...ggg...bin jetzt halt keine blutige Anfängerin mehr und sogar regelrecht mit dem P&B-Virus infiziert! Die 3. Tasche ist schon am Entstehen, diesmal eine Perfect Tote....und als nächstes wage ich mich an eine Business Bag.
Mal wieder eine Saddle , macht immer wieder Spaß.
Dieses Mal sind zwei Sattles aus dem Vanille Matt Grain und dem Blue Matt Grain entstanden und dann habe ich die Klappen getauscht und jeweils angenäht. So haben meine Mutter und ich je eine zweifarbige Tasche. Wer welche bekommt war aber soo schwierig, dass wir Lose gezogen haben. Der Ledergurt wartet noch auf die Fertigung aber momentan bin ich beim Adventskalender. 🥰

Diese Modern Saddle im tollen Pistacchio Velours aus der Special Edition war nicht meine erste B&P Tasche - aber sie ist jetzt eine meiner liebsten. Das Leder hat eine traumhafte Farbe, eine tolle Qualität und Stabilität - auch wenn das Nähen von Velours eine kleine Herausforderung für die Finger ist. ;-) Man sieht, dass auch vorbereitete DIY-Boxen viel Platz für Individualisierungen bieten. Ich habe mich z.B. für einen besonderen Futterstoff, Metallteile in schwarz (gunmetal) und ein helleres Garn entschieden. Die Fertigung der Saddle ist auch ohne Vorerfahrungen gut machbar und macht Spaß. Die Anleitung führt Schritt für Schritt gut durch das Projekt und am Ende ist man stolz auf das Ergebnis und freut mich sich schon auf die nächste Tasche aus dem nächsten Leder!

Das Leberworschd-Velour hatte ich schon lange daliegen und hab die Saddle jetzt endlich genäht. Der Gurt aus dem 23er AK passt perfekt dazu. Ich hab das Leder immer stückweise mit der Ahle vorgestochen, damit das Nähen leichter geht. Auf die Kantenbearbeitung habe ich ganz verzichtet, nachdem ich es an der Innentasche an einem kleinen Stück ausprobiert und für nicht schön befunden habe.

Eine klassische Saddle hat mir noch in meiner Sammlung gefehlt - habe mich für einen Cappuccino Ton in Mini Grain entschieden. Es war nicht meine erste Bagsandpieces Tasche und definitiv nicht meine letzte. Das Leder ist wie immer traumhaft schön und ließ sich wunderbar verarbeiten. Habe neben dem klassischen Ledergurt auch einen Statementgurt gefertigt und finde es macht den Look gleich anders. Trage die Tasche sehr gerne.

Mein erstes Projekt war diese Saddle. Ich war direkt infiziert. Die DIY-Boxen machen so viel Spaß.
Ein halbes Jahr habe ich mir immer wieder die tollen Taschen aus den Bewertungen angesehen und dann, als ich das Ziegenleder in Strawberry Pink gesehen habe, da wusste ich: Ich bin bereit! In den tollen Video-Tutorials erklärt Vivían alle Arbeitsschritte. Wenn man dann auch noch die Anleitung ordentlich liest (zu meiner Entschuldigung: ich war sooo aufgeregt und wollte gleich drauflos nähen und kleben), ist die Saddle gut machbar. Manche Nähte waren herausfordernd und ich musste meinen Fingern zuliebe Nähpausen einlegen🪡. Aber das Ergebnis entschädigt für die Mühe und anfängliche Sorgen, ob ich das wohl hinbekomme (der Preis ist zwar gerechtfertigt, aber halt kein Schnäppchen) und ob was draus wird, waren umsonst…ich bin total verliebt in das Ergebnis. Meine Tasche ist durch die Labels und den Stoff, den ich aus von mir gemalten Aquarellblumen entworfen habe, zu einem echten Unikat geworden.😊 PS: Meine nächste Tasche von Bags&Pieces ist bereits bestellt…eine Perfect Tote in Tiffany Blue Used Metallic👜

When it comes to metal accessories, too, we make sure that we only use parts that can be attached without special machines and are still firmly fixed.
As soon as you have put together your DIY box, you will receive an e-mail from us with the order confirmation and access to the instructions and basic videos. You can then look at these in advance or when your DIY box arrives. And then you can get started!

How long does production take?
As a rough guide, the Saddle Bag takes about 8 to 10 hours to manufacture (including drying times for the edge paint). If you have never made a bag before and are looking at the instructions and videos for the first time, it may take a little longer.

Where do the leather and other materials come from?
The leather in our standard collection comes from a Veneto tannery that has been working with leather for more than 20 years and supplies many well-known luxury leather goods labels. With innovative methods, especially in the area of water treatment and resource-saving techniques, the tannery combines traditional craftsmanship with modern expertise.
The leather in our special editions mostly comes from surplus sales in Tuscany or is our own production that we commissioned from Italian tanneries. Surplus sales are leftover stocks from major luxury leather goods labels who no longer want to use these leathers as they work in seasonal collections. The leather is carefully selected by us on site, so that we can also offer very good quality and great features here. Treasure hunt, next level!
The other materials such as metal accessories, straps and other supplementary items come from suppliers in the leather processing industry. We source these from all over the world but especially Italy, Spain, Portugal, China and France depending on where we can find the best product for your DIY box.
